Golden AnniversaryGolden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Eulalio Jimenez Sr., 740 Ottawa, will be celebrated at a 2 p.m. Mass Sunday, April 21 in St. John’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Francisco Caballero, celebrant. A dinner and dance will follow in the UAW Hall with their children as hosts. Music will be provided by the Torres Brothers orchestra from Croswell, Mich.Mr. Jimenez and the former Marin Soto, who were married April 22, 1924 in Cotulla, Texas, came to Defiance in 1952. Mr. Jimenez is a retiree of the Central Foundry Division of General Motors.Their children are: Pilar, Lincoln, Calif.; Josi, Detroit; David, Chicago; Cruz, Paulding; Eulalio Jr., Raul, Ernesto, Juan Francisco and Mrs. Estella Soliz, Defiance; Mrs. Esperanza Romero, Leipsic; Mrs. Olga Ruiz, Cecil; and Miss Jessie Jimenez, Toledo. Two sons, Raul I and Eudelio, are deceased. There are 36 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.Mr. and Mrs. Eulalio Jimenez Sr.
