MacKinnon of 164 West River St., were honored Saturday evening at a 25th wedding anniversary party at the Ellin-wood. Country Club, Athol. Mrs. MacKinnon, thp former Eileen Currie of Millers Falls, and MacKinnon of Orange, were married April 19.1947. __________Richard Halloran, brother-in-law of Mrs. MacKinnon, was master of ceremonies Saturday evening. Seated with the couple at the head table were-their son, William MacKinnon; Mrs. Mar*garet Lynch, Mrs. MacKinnon’s . sister who was her attendant at the wedding 25 years ago; Mrs. Kenneth MacKinnon, Mrs. Kathleen Halloran, John Lynch and Miss Diana Lawson. The late Kenneth - MacKinnon was best man at his brother’s wedding.The couple received a money tree and numerous other gifts from the 120 attending the party. Guests were present from Athol, Orange, Millers Falls, Turners Falls, Greenfield, Westfield, Springfield, Fitchburg and Ohio.Miss Nancy Currie had charge of the guest book, and Mrs. Barbara MacKinnon served the anniversary cake.
