He will introduce County Judge Julius R. Neunhoffer who will then introduce Governor Connally.The invocation will be given by H. E. Butt Jr. of Corpus Christi.Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Butt Sr. of Corpus Christi will be here for the occasion.In charge of publicity are Mrs. Oscar Neunhoffer and Orville Wood.Mrs. S. C. Holbrook and Attorney R. L Wilson have procured the documents which will be given by Mrs. Butt by Mrs.R. H. Weiss to be placed in the cornerstone.The Kerrville Garden Club will be in charge of the outdoor decorations.City and county officials from Bandera, Fredericksburg and Boerne as well as residents of those areas have been invited to attend the day’s activities. Fifteen members of the local library board will also be on hand.The Tivy High School Band will provide music for the occasion, and the three upper grades at Tivy High School will be dismissed to attend the ceremony.Businessmen in Kerrville are asked by the Retail Trade Committee of the Kerr County Chamber of Commerce to close from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., closing on a voluntary basis, according to Whit Zander, manager of the Kerr County C ofC.The public is invited to attend the activities.The library which is to cost an estimated $500,000 is being built in the 500 block of Water Street.The building designed as ; community - regional library will contain 20,445 square fee of floor space.
