Many Visitors Here On Lovely Easter SundayEaster Sunday turned out to be a beautiful spring day, clear and sunny. Flowers, trees, and shrubs on the campus were bursting out of their winter sleep.A large number of parents drove to Alton to see their sons. Some cadets had overnight leave with them. At the noon meal on Sunday over half the cadets were on dinner leave with their families.All Christian churches in Alton celebrated the day with beautiful and impressive services, which were attended by the cadets. Many families went to church together.The Sunday afternoon parade attracted an unusually large crowd. The corps dressed in dress coats and white ducks gave a snappy performance.
