Mrs.Bruns is 71 years of age and Mr. Bruns N 74. They have lived on i farm the greater part of their lives, until a few vears ago they ’retired and moved to Sigourney. They now live on South Jefferson street.This golden wedding was cele brateri at St. Paul’s Evangelical church in Sigourney, with morethan 100 relatives attending. Adinner was served at noon and thechildren of Mr, and Mrs. Bruns sponsored the event. The children art' M’s. .Julius Nitz, Mrs. .Joe Prather. Fred Bruns, Mrs. Anna St.roliman. Mrs. Vina Tygart, Mrs Margaret Fritehen and August Bruns, all of Sigourney, and Mrs. Clara Thousands of Cedar Rapids.The guests included Mrs. Louis Bruns' sister. Mrs Anna Smith, and brother. Dick Schimmelphennig. Louis Bruns six brothers and theirfamilies a!! living In Sigourney.were present, They were WilliamBruns, Fred Bruns, John Bruns, Herman Bruns. August Bruns and Charley Bruns. Other relatives in cited were nieces and nephews of Mr. and Mrs. Bruns.
