A hearing- was he Id (before Judge Charles G. Webb, in Tioga County Cjburt, on Tuesday, concerning the final disposition .bf the Bache Auditorium, corner of East Avenue and Pearl Street in Wellsboro, which was condemned in 54 by the State Department of Labor and Industry, and since that date has been unused and in a state of deterioration.Under the will Of the late William Bache, whose death occurred February L 1900. the build*' ing was left to a designated board of trustees “for the establishment and maintenance of an opera house or hall for public or private £ur: poses*'. The original costs of the building was $14,000. ineluding ] $2,000 for the cost of the land ion which it stands. The-cost included $3,000 in individual contributions. from persons who were tater named as trustees.With the approval of the trustees the building was first leased to the late Arthur H. and AlbertRed Cross ChapterGives Mar.
