OTTIS E. LAYCpl. Ottis E. Lay, son of J. M. Lay, Trade. Ala., recently completed a ten week combat non-commissioned officers course at the European Command Engineer School, j Murnau, Germany.The corporal is assigned to duty as a construction specialist with Company C of the 109th Engineer Combat battalion on Heidelberg Military Post.Before he entered military service in July, 1950, Lay worked as a farmer. He was assigned to Germany in June, 1951, after basic training at Fort Bragg, N. C.BILLY J. FARLEY
