Six stills, 17 gallons of liquor and 1,500 gallons of mash were confiscated.Officers picked named Big Run, “Moonshine Run” and claim it is infested with stills. The raiders, 21 in number, searched more than 25 houses and buildings In an effort to“mop up” the vicinity.Those arrested gave the names of Gar Phipps. 48, Jeff Risner, £1, Vaughn McCorkle, 19, and Yada Adams. All had small quantities with exception of Phipi*s who had 14 gallons, raiders said.All were fined fldO and costs by Magistrate Hilt, Big Run. Phipps and Vftds Adams were released by Hilt a short time after they were incareerated in the Jail. MeCorke! and Risner are being held.Saturday afternoon the raiders destroyed a 50 gallon copper still in operation on Duck Run. The operators of the still escaped. The raiders reported that a lookout on anearby ridge warned the operatorsof the outfit. Five barrels of raash and one gallon of liquor were found at the still.Late Saturday C. M. Ward and Pearl Carrell, federal agents, went to Lawrence county where they found a still In operation on Ice creek, three miles north of I ronton. Three men, Jack and George Riffitt and Andy Dials were arrested on i barges of manufacttiring liquor. A 70-gallon outfit, nine barrels • f ma«b and 40 gallons of liquor wert seised.Constables W. R.
