Monticello R. R. 3.Mr. and Mrs. Orson Cope, Maggie and Goldja Baer spent Sunday at Joseph Thompson’s.Claude Rector is helping Grant Luse with his work.Vint Miksell, wife and son spent Sunday with Anthony Miksell and wife.School closed at Zion Bethel Thursday of last week with a big dinner and a fine program. The Valley school taught by Clarence Rotruck was out at noon the same day and both schools had dinner together. Zion Bethel taught by Roland Benjamin had 29 on roll and 20 received rolls of honor. The Valley school had 16 and 15 received rolls of honor. The Valley school had the best record in the township.Lon Pherson and family attended baptizing at Headiee Sunday, their son Edwin and daughter Mabel being among the nnmber baptized.Ezra Sluyter called on Ben Baer Sunday afternoon.Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Conwell spent Saturday night with Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Elston.Ray Bear iB working for Charles Hutton.
