Greenville chopper pilot killed in VietnamChief Warrant Officer Billy Joe Wilson of Greenville was killed in action April 7 in Vietnam, the Department of Defense announced today.Wilson, 30, was co-pilot of a helicopter which crashed and burned after it was hit by enemy ground fire. No details were released.The career army officer was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence L. Wilson of Rt. 3,Greenville. He served in the U. S. Air Force for four years before joining the army in 1902. He went to Vietnam in July 1970 for his second combat tour in the war.Wilson was born in Tutwiler and attended Indianola High School.Funeral arrangements were im-complete.In addition to his parents, Wilson leaves his wife, the former Billie Sudduth of Rt. 2,Clarksdale; three children, Michael Joe Wilson of Rt. 2, Clarksdale, B. J. Wilson and Lisa Jean Wilson of Sandalia, Colo; four brothers, George and Thomas W.Wilson of Greenville, Clarence L. Wilson Jr. of Tampa, Fla., and Dr. Jimmy A.Wilson of Torrance, Calif.; five sisters,Mrs. Charles Adams, Mr3.
