This building was razed last year to make way for a steel structureto house the manufacturing faculties for door untis.lt;The company was incorporated in 1908 when its principal business was the production of hardwood flooring. The original sawmill was erected in 1914with the addition of dry kilns in 1923.The ready supply of hardwood lumber made possible the manufacturing of bathinettes, an enterprise which was carried on from 1932 until 1965 when the local source of lumber had diminished greatly and the line was discontinued.
