renMrs. Simmons came to DuBols on her twenty-third birthday, on April 12 1879. and has been a resident here for 62 years. She is one of the oldest, members of St. Catherine's Church and In her ! younger days -ra.« very active in the affairs of her church being a member of the choir for 25 years, one of the organizers of the L. C. B. A. and an officer for ten yearsMrs. Simmons, despite her age. still Is enjoying fairly good health and was able to enter Into the spirit of the occasion with much enthusiasm.
