That task then begun has resulted, as the years have passed, in a material equipment of which we are nil proud and in a university which ranks second to none in the Middle West. During this period many of our own folks whose names we all know and respect, showed their loyalty and their love for our university by contributions of service and money. Perhaps none of them dreamed in those years gone by how great would be the result of their interest tnd labor. That which they sowed in faith, we and our children are reaping today in oducatonal advantages.Next Monday, just one hundred years later, the Monroe County Memorial Fund Campaign officially darts, and for the first time in a :entury, every man, woman and child has an opportunity to enroll in this great company of the living and the lead who gave in the past that we night profit in the present.Headquarters will be established on !he south side of the public square tomorrow.
