AUNOLD SCHOOIv CtiOSED. 'The Arnold school, in Marion township, of which Suraner Steward, ofFairland, has been the teacher dur- ^ing the past school year, closed Sat-1 urday. As a mark of appreciation; for, his services and to show iItheir friendship and esteem, ai large number of the patrons and | friends of the school gathered at the' building at the noon hour and spread , an elegant dinner to^ which all did _ ample justice. The concluding feature of the program which was given in the afternoon was a spelling match, in which Miss Leatha Huber , carried off the honors.
