THOMAS GREGOR HAT-TIE, Hetherington avenue, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Wednesday when relatives and friends honored them at an evening party held in the Earl Grey Community club. Mr. George Wicken made the presentation.Mrs. Hattie the former Catherine Grey Eb-sory was born in St, John’s, Newfoundland and Mr. Hattie at Acadia Mines, Nova Scotia. They were married in Sydney, Nova Scotia, and came to Winnipeg in 1910. Mr. Hattie was employed as a machinist by the C.N.R. Fort Rouge Shops until his retirement in 1951.They have three children William E. Hattie, Mrs. George A. Seibert, and Mrs. Jucison L. Mulkey all residing in California. There are four grandchildren.
