Miss., April 11.— The death sentence was made mandatory yesterday for Matthew Douglas, 32. negro, who was found guilty as charged” in district court here for a criminal attack on a young ; West Point waitress Feb. 10. Sentence will be pawed later.The young woman, who testified at the trial, said the negro accosted her as she was walking home from work, robbed her at the point of a knife and then criminally assaulted her.
