r.drtytoteNegro School Has Health Week ProgramLast week, the local school joined the other Negro schools in America in observance of the twenty-sixth annual National Negro Health Week.Monday, Miss Ruth Musgrove, a white missionary to Belgian Congo, spoke to the group on “Life in General.”Other high points on our program during the week were: A lecture by Dr. C. U. Franklin, practicing Negro ! physician of Sherman, and a book review, “Up From Slavery,” an autobiography of Booker T. Washington, by Mrs. D. S. Boyd.Winners of the health essay contest held Friday were as follows:| Eighth grade, James Smith; sev-‘d enth grade, Joe H. Conley; sixth ’•• grade, Evelyn Dellis; fifth grade, •d Collene Hamilton; fourth grade, Cathron Freeman.The likeness of Booker T.
