GERMANIA HALL PLANNEDMembers of Joplin Societies Go to Springfield—May Follow Example.It is probable that Joplin will have a new Germania hall after the visit of thirty members of the local society returns from Springfield, where they wenL in a special car to witness the formal dedication of a new hall at that place.• The hail at Springfield was built at an expense of $15,000. All four of the societies in Springfield joined in Its construction. The Joplin Germania now has 135 members and has outgrown the present small hall on the corner of Third and Joplin streets. Should a new'hall be built it will be equipped with reading rooms, gymnasium, game rooms,baths and other luxuries. Membersof the society at Springfield will hold a large banquet to which members of sister societies from all parts of the state have been invited.A part of the Joplin members will return next Monday night.
