Richard C. Smith, .ill ol Battle Creek. Another son, Bobrrt H. Smith of Canoga Park. Calif., will not be able to attend Grandchildren Thomas, (Buy and Patricia Edwards will assist at the open house. The honored guests request no gifts.Mr. Inscho and the former Frances Parks Smith were married at the Bethany Baptist chinch in Pontiac on April 9, 1929. and came to Battle Creek in 1933,Both were employed by Post Division of General Foods; Mrs. Inscho left in 1937 and her husband retired in May 1967, alter 36 years with the company. In 1952 she was certified as a licensed pratical nurse; she worked for a time for Dr. Douglas*Woodward in Marshall •and was employed at Community hospital until her retirement in 1966.Mrs. Inscho is a former member of the choir of Brooks Mem-forial United Methodist church-; and was director of the child-I ren’s choir for four years during which time she wrote many of i the songs herself.They are presently members of the Convis church and Mrs. i Incsho has served on numer-I ous committees for the district ' VVSCS. She belongs to the Pris-! cilia circle, Happy Homemakers extension group, and the FOP auxiliary. She and her hus | band belong to the Convis town-! ship Farm Bureau discussion | group.; Since their retirement the In-I schos have enjoyed traveling, fishing and hunting and taking | pictures of^their activities and M's. Inscho has had time to de-! vote to her hobby of w/iting j poetry and songs.
