Schofields to Observe AnniversaryRICEVILLE — Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Sehofield of Rieeville will be honored at a dinner and reception on their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday.Their children will be hosts at a family dinner at noon in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Schofield of Rieeville. The reception ,will be held in the Methodist Church in Mclntire from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday. No formal invitations will be issued. The reception is for all friends and relatives.A program is being planned by Mrs. Martha Harshbarger and Mrs. Nellie Eastland,The Schofields farmed near Rockwell for many years before moving to their present home near Rieeville. They were married in Edina, Mo., April 14, 1907, The late Rev. J. L. Bilby officiated.Mr. and Mrs. Schofield are the parents of two daughters, and two sons,* Mrs. Donald N. Manwaring, Bellingham, Wash., Mrs. Ernest J. Sheker of Fort Dodge; Denver L. Schofield, Rockwell; and Orville G. Schofield of Rieeville. There are three grandchildren, Sharon Mae and Ernest’K. Schofield and Harry J. Manwaring II.The Manwarings will fly from Bellingham and spend the week following the anniversary with Mrs, Manwaring’s parents and other relatives.Planning to attend from away are the Schofields’ wedding attendants, Mrs. Ella Weleher, Edina, Mo., sister of Mrs. Schofield, and Marvin Florea, Kirks-ville, Mo., his cousin. Mrs. Schofield’s sisters and brothers, Mrs. Vinna Schofield, Mr. and Mrs. Emory Ashby and Mr. and Mrs. Pearl Lewis, all of Edina; Mr. and Mrs. Pearl Roush, La Belie, Mo., and Mr. and Mrs. Miles Roush, Marceline, Mo. will attend. Mr. Schofield’s sister and brother, Mrs. Harry Hunt and Harry Schofield will fly in from Portland, Ore.Mrs. Schofield is the former Lyda Mae Roush, daughter of the late Mr, and Mrs. Joshua Roush of Edina and Mr. Schofield’s parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Schofield of Knox City, Mo.
