Vounif Woman Victim of Tuberculosis Monday Keening.The grim reaper hovered over;the Roberts Chapel communitynorthwest of Arcadia Monday evening, taking as his victim, MissHelen Gilliam, age 34. Miss Gil-| liam has been in poor health for:some time, and her death was attributed to tuberculosis, occurring Monday evening at 6:30o'clock.Helen Gilliam was the daugh-iter of Alonzo and Minnie (Riffe); Gilliam, and was born June 26,1901. All her life was spent inthe Arcadia community. She graduated with the 1919 class fromthe Arcadia high schoolSurviving besides the parentsis one sister, Jeanetta Giliam, athome. At the present time, Mr.Gilliam is in Alabama, his daughter’s condition being no worsewhen he left home.It Is thought funeral services will be held some time Friday,but definite arrangements will notmade until word is receivedfrom the father.
