WO*lt; SLEY(lt; By The Gazette s CorrespondentWorsley, April 2:— A number I of Worsley and Marina residents went to Clear Prairie on Mar. 25 to attend the basket social. They report having a good time.William Cronmdler hauled a load of barley to Eureka River last Friday.Mrs. L. M. O’Neil and Ar.dreas Madsen visited Mr. and Mrs. F. Summers, at Dancing Hills, last Sunday.Theodore Knott left on Sunday for his home at Lothrop after spending a week visiting at William Whitford’s home.A play entitled, “Here ComesCharlie,” was very ably presented at the Horseshoe Valley School -by the teacher, Miss Harriet Bo- ■ hannon, and the teacher of Dane- I ing Hill School, Miss Elsie Top- I ping, along with a cast of eight I young people of the surrounding I district. The attendance was I small but everyone enjoyed them- I selves. After lunch dancing was I indulged in until about 3.30 a.m. I Music was provided by Ivan Hoo- I ver, Bill Somers and the Shaw I brothers. Proceeds amounted to I about $13.00 to be divided equally between the two schools.The quilt, made by the directors of the Emily Murphy Library board, was drawn for and won byWilliam Cronmiller.Joe Larsback,ot Eureka River, has been fortunate in getting two loads of hay from William Cron-miller, which we believe is the last hay for sale in our district. Feed is really scarce now.Miss E. Stephenson and Miss L. Stephenson, of Montagneuse Valley and Edman, respectively,Melvin Anderson and George Basserabowich are very busy these days setting up their sawmill and logging.Jerry Sullivan and Fred Farr are getting out logs for a barn on the former’s place.Constable Walker, of Fairview, was a business visitor in our district last week.are the guests of Mrs. W. S. Hoover.
