THE PUBLICCorona’s new hospital is now a reality, and Mrs. Walter S. Clayson was the first patient to be admitted to the institution. Mrs. Clayson Tues. morning presented her husband with a fmo daughter, so the Clayson familyholds the honor of having both the! ^ first patient and the first baby to betborn in the new Corona hospital.Miss Ada Corkhill, who is starting the hospital, needs no introduction to the people of this city. She is a daughter of one of our pibneer families, Mr. and Mrs. William Corkhill. She has had a number of years’ ex-•perience as a registered nurse, and I lt;in addition saw service as a Red; tCross nurse in France during thei1world war. 11In speaking about the hospital this afternoon Miss Corkhill -stated that three rooms only are completely furnished and ready fof patientB, but that additional equipment is expected daily, and every room will be soonready for occupancy.The new hospital is located at the southwest corner of Tenth and Main streets, in the A. W. Bates house. This building is well adapted for the use of a hospital, having two doors -\ and being not only commodious butl\centrally located.1
