A. L. Skeels, at one time proprietor of the Kimball house in this city, but for some time connected with the Iceland hotel In Chicago, died in the latter city Thursday night. Mr. Skeels vras bora iu Malone, X. Y., In 1S4C and went into the hotel business at an early age. His wife died in California, where she had stone for her health, soon after he located in Chicago two years ago. lie leaves no children and the ouly other relative is a sister living in New York. Mr. Skeels was a genial, whole-souled man, well liked by all his acquaintances. He was well known in Davenport and has many friends here.Garden seeds at Kislevs.
