(’(.mrmuiieiito I.Family ^leetfng.On the 2d of April, 1868, the 86th birthday of t^in brothers, James and William Vawter, (.both now living) the entire family of James and Sarah B. Vawter, consisting of eight sons und one daughter, met at the house of M. S. Vawter, it being the old residence of Jas. Vawter, to cele brate the birthday of their venerable and honored'Father and to have a general family re-union. There were present, ir* addition to alt the children, seven of their daughter-in-law and eighteen grandchildren; also, two sister?, one sister-in-law, two brothers-in-law, together with many relatives and acquaintances, making a total of sixty-two persons, who partook cf ft $p{end«d dinner provided by M, S. VawteK The venerable man oi God, JBlder W. T. Stotl being present, offered prayerand engaged in diyotional exercises, after which all enjoyed the social and friendly converse of each other, and with such good will that we were led to say behold how pleasant for brethren to dwell together inunitv. ONE WHO WAS THERE.
