Kunze Hurls No-HitterIn 3-0 Setback at OLOCARTHAGE, Mo.-Joplin Mc-Auley’s David Kunze pitched a no-hitter here Tuesday afternoon, but dropped a 3-0 decision to Our Lady of the Ozarks College’s high school baseball team.Kunze walked five and struck out 10 in the seven-inning tussle,Track Meet Tentatively Set TodayWeather permitting, approximately 80 athletes will seek honors in the season’s first junior high school Open House track meet at 3:30 o’clock this afternoon at Junge Stadium.With the deadline for enteringbut four errors marred his performance.OLO struck for a pair of runs in the first on two bases on balls and a pair of errors and added its final run in the fifth on a walk and an error.McAuley managed only two hits off the offerings of Sullivan, OLO’s sophomore right-hander. Greg Scheurich collected a single in the second for the game’s first hit and Kunze rapped a single in the third.Jim Wyatt’s McAuley Warriors will meet OLO in another game here Wednesday, April 13.
