I FUTURE BRIDE !S HONORED AT F AM ILY DIN N E RA going-away dinner party Wednesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C harles R. Mey-er was given in honor of Miss | Thelma Moyer. Mr. Meyer's sis-j ter.Miss Meyer and her sister. Miss Mildred Meyer, left yesterday for Texas, where Thelma| will he married to Pvt. DonaldJones of Oxnard in an Army Chapel near El Paso.Guests at the dinner were Charles W. Meyer, the honoree's father, and Mrs. Meyer, and the honoree’s sister Mildred.Later in the vening, the group was joined by Mrs. Gretehen Nelson and son Jack, a sister of the honoree, Mr. and Mrs. Har-i old Meyer, her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Figueroa with John Jr. and Juanita, and Mrs. Hope Hernandez. ISpring flowers and green tapers decorated with orchid lace and pastel sweetpeas centered j the table.Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Mey-er accompanied the girls as far as Pasadena, where they spent the day.
