Willow District Items.The party at Oates* last Saturday night was a very pleasant affair, and thoroughly enjoyed by the sixty or more guests present. .Messrs. Chas, and Clarence Clifton, of Placerville, were the guests of the H, B. Odliu family Sunday Miss Luciile Grainger, Willie Bennett and Andrew Marchini, of Placer-viile. were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Oates Sunday.Tom Murray met with a very painful aceident last week,getting his lips and tongue cut with barb wire. .I The Willow school failed to start on the 25th, oh account of the teacherbeing ill.Ross Odlin and Verdie Meyers werethe guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Odlin Sunday. ,Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Cole and Frank Cole went below to attend the funeralof Peter Haas. ‘Mr.-Hauls and Geo. Wood were busybuilding fence last week.John Sweeney has discarded ms “Hickory Limb.11 We are glad to seehis smiling face again.Ralph Odlin has harvested his crop, and it turned out better than expected, Dave Oates expects to move into his new bungalow in the near future.Mrs. Sweeney was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Joe J uckes Sunday.Herman Leoni passed through on his way to “Mountain Meadow”Saturday.Geo.
