DIES BY POISONMrs. Leo Kane Commits Suicide4at Farm Home; Funeral Saturday,(Courier Special Service) .Fairbank, la,, April 5. — Funeral services for Mrs. Leo Kane, about 37, who . committed suicide by swallowing poison at her farm home five miles northwest of Fairbank, yesterday afternoon, will be in immaculate- Conception. church here' at10 a. m. Saturday. Burial will be in the cemetery here.The body was found by the husband at 2 p. m. Thursday. The Bremer county coroner was called and he adjudged the death suicide.Surviving besides the husband are two children, 3 and 1, respectively; the mother, Mrs. Rosella Staack, Waverly; the father, who resides near Readiyn, and several brothers and sisters. Before her marriage Mrs. Kane was Miss Gladys Staack, and she lived for several years with her grandmother in Fairbank.Mrs. Kane's health had not been good for some time and it-, is believed this motivated her self-destruction.
