Grants remember 50l *years of marriageMr. and Mrs. Sterling R. Grant Sr. of 1414 Mossman Drive will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a renewal of vows at 1:30 p.m. and a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. April 10 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1009 W. AlamedaSt.Their children and their spouses will host the event.Sterling R. Grant Sr. and Norma E. White were wed April 3, 1943, in Las Cruces. They moved to Roswell In 1945. Grant retired from U.S. West in1985 after 3914 years. Mrs. Grant retired from U.S. West in1986 after 24 years.Th e couple has five children: Sterling Grant Jr., Troy Grant, Gordon Grant, all of Roswell, Bonnie Muncy of Omaha, Neb., and Billy Grant of Hobbs.
