Brownies Have InvestitureBrownie Scout Troop 14 oE Howard Street School held its r-inveslilure ceremony al the ' regular meeting on Wednesday afternoon. The business f me cling was conducted by the * president, Phyllis Weagley, the s secretary, Joy Allen and the 1 treasurer, Paula Jones. ' ^Joy Allen announced the I program which consisted of I the pledge to the flag, the lt;Brownie Promise, the Brownie t Smile Song and the singing o£ ,lKook-A-Burra in a round.' i Mrs, J. Lewis Eycrly told the Brownie story through the Use of a flannelgraph.Mrs, Floyd Coffelt, leader of . the troop, invested the new. -adults: Mrs. John Clowscr, assistant leader: and Mrs. Edwin Hose, Mrs. Frank Allen and Mrs. Paul Jones, troop committee members,Mrs. Coffelt, assisted by Mrs. Eyeriy, invested the new scouts who were given pins:Joy Allen, Nancy Carmack, Linda Clowscr, Cynthia Har-baugh, Sherry Hose, Pamela Houpt, Laurie Hull, Paula Jones, Callista Smith, Sally Stock si ager, Phyllis Wcagley and Donna Whiflingtcm,Refreshments were served by Uie Brownies-to die members and the following guests: Mrs. Earl Selby, council assistant; Mrs. Carl Bateman, Jr., Mrs. Melvin Jor.es, Mrs. Robert Hull, Mrs. Oscar Har-baugh, Mrs. Clyde Stockslag-er, Mrs. Frank Allen, Mrs. Edwin llose, Mrs. Paul Jones, Mrs. John dowser, Sirs.
