AGED EVERETT COUPLE MARRIED 65 YEARSMr and Mrs James Lepper Observe DayEVERETT, April 4—Mr and Mrs .lame-Lepper of IIS Florence st observed their65th wedding anniversary yesterday in their home. The observance was quiec because the aged couple were not in good health. Their children and many of their grandchildren and great-grandchildren visited themBoth Mr and Mrs Lepper were horn in Scotland, the former in Aberdeen, the latter in Edinburg. Both came to this country when about 1 year old, their parents settling in Canada. They grew up as neighbors, and married in Truro. X S. April 3. ]*•♦;.Mr Lepper was a millwright, lie m-listed in the regiment known as the “Bof'Sif Blues at the time of the Fenian raid in Canada in 1860 and served until they were disbanded. He later entered the lighthouse service and wag keeper of the Cranberry Bog light al Cape Canso from 1S82 to 1888 and then resumed the trade of millwright. He retired from business about 30 years ago.Mr and Mrs Lepper have had 12 children, of whom eight are living. They have 29 grandchildren and 11 creat-grandchildren. They have lived in Massachusetts for 13 years, and in Everett for seven years. Mr Lepper is 80 and Mrs Lepper 85 years old.
