Brewery new firm siteWinnebago Northland, Inc has announced the recent purchase of the well known landmark. Chief Oshkosh BrewerySpokesman for the firm, Leon Luher has released the following informationWinnebago Northland was incorporated in Oshkosh tn June of 1.975 Officers include William Dumhe, president. Leon C Luker. vice president. Vern La Rou\. woe president, Jon A Voss, secretary, and Robert Berndt, treasurer All officers are directors According to Luker, thefirm is in the process of renovating the newest addition to the building This section of the brewery will be used for the new business formedby this group A wholesale and retail business involving liquidated items will begin operating as soon as the refurbishing is completed It is expected that all building materials and general merchandise will besold which would include clothing and food. A formal opening will be held for thegeneral public at a later dateThe wholesale business will serve all parts of the Midwest Dumke. also a private insurance agent, has established an office m the former brewery and will continue his business from the new officeWork has been completed in some of the storage areas which are now available for rental La Rouv will handle the sales end of the newi operations and will be adding to his staff in the future When the new retail store opens it is expected that between 10 and 20 persons willbe employed at the store Luker commented on the beauty and sound construction of the building, noting that his own grandfather, ja mason, laid brick on the red building m the early 1900s.
