He was rescued just in time to save him from an on-bubecoming train by a pedestrian. He was -pjtaken to a flagman's shanty and .revived, but could give no very clear] account of himself, beyond saying that; his home, when he was at home, was; in this city. He was taken to the jail hospital at Momence.The information concerning Maudlin came to this city through a telegram to Sheriff Lindley from Sheiiff Riley of Momence. Maudlin is well-known here.
