Mr. and Mrs. A. Y. Wither-spon celebrated their fiftiethwadding anniversary at the home of their daughter, Mrs. R. E. Drake in Dallas. Co-hostess with Mrs. Drake was Mrs. Clayton Bolt.There were approximately 90 guests attending the e-vent. There were four children present, Mrs. Clayton Bolt, Mrs. R. E. Drake, Earl Witherspoon, all of Dallas; and Russell Witherspoon of Ropesville, Texas.Presiding at the punch bowl was Mrs. Earnest Drake, Jr. and at the cake was Mrs. Vernon Smith.The Witherspoons live in Rainbow.
