mmw‘‘Should Auld Acquaintance Be Forgot”This photograph comes fromhe treasured memory book ofne of the members of the class.t was taken of a group of rade school children in the ivy School, and the date could ossibly be 1911. The photo* raph, which will be a surprise o most of the members, is rinted to uphold the contention f some of the masculine mem-rs, “The prettiest girls who ver went to school in Kerrville ere in our class/’As the gentle reader will note, he' vogue of hair ribbons for he girls, was given a great dealof precedence, and this was the year before bobbed tresses as long braids were for the most part, popular. How the men have changed from the fifth and sixth grader of today! Please note the stiff collars and the ties, not to say coats, on some of the boys. Miss Manning, the teacher, is standing at the far right, just back of the girls, who are standing. Four of the faces could not be identified.Some of the names of the pupils fcould not be remembered by Mrs. J, F. Stallings, who is the “Laura Henke” of the group.
