Relative* and friends gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Thompson of near Carmel Sun* day to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. At the noon hour a basket dinner was served. The children presented their mother with a gold wedding ring and a set of gold band dishes. Their father received a gold watch and chain.Those present for the day were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hubbard and children John and Dorothy, Earl Thompson and daughters Betty and Patty, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rhoads, Mr. and Mrs. Stacy Rhoads, Miss Kate Hendrick of Middletown: Mr. and Mrs. Carl Thompson, Huston, Mary, Dorothy, Jane, Will and Kenneth Corzatt, Billy Johnson, Norman Huston of Dayton: Walter Low-man and family, Mr. and Mrs. William Halford of Jamestown, E. Thompson and family, Harvey McLaughlin and family, Mrs. Bertha McLaughlin and children of Bainbridge; Mr. and Mrs. Stacy Thompson, James Evans and family, Miss Nannie Evans of Rains- ! boro; H. Lowman and family, Gene Thompson, Mrs, Emily Lowman of New Fair; Mr. and Mrs. A. Irons of Sinking Spring, Mrs. Millie Penn and son, Earl, Mrs. Myrtie West, Miss Bertie West, L.
