Lamont Couple Pass52nd Year in WedlockLsIyucIctc€ lLaruont, la., April 1.—Special: Mr. jlt;] and Mrs. William Adams celebrated 0 their fifty-seeoud wedding anniver- \ ^ sary Sunday. They entertained their immediate relatives at dinner. The day was also the seventy-sixth anniversary of Mr. Adam's birth. A decorated cake was the centerpiece ofthe table.Mr. Adams Is a native of England.His home was at Woodbridge, Suffolk, one of a family of nine children. He received his education and learned the mason’s trade in England. When 21 he came to America, locating in Wisconsin. Mrs. Adams was born on a farm near Forestville. Her childhood was spent in Iowa and \ \Wisconsin.Mr. and Mrs. Adams were married at Weyauwega. Wis. They made the j | new home in Wisconsin where they lived for several years. In 1894 they moved to Iowa, locating on a farm east of Lamont. In 1905 they retired from the farm, locating in Lament where they have sine© residedMr. and Mrs. Adams are the parents of two children, Georg#* Adamsand Mrs. Mabel Dopp, both of La-mont. There are six grandchildren, George Dopp of Kilbourn, Wls., j 1 Earl.
