A former food stamp Case worker for the Muski Ngum county welfare department recently was named As the Agency s first special Revie ver the Rosevine native will assist in criminal investigations of welfare fraud Seq absent fathers. As a result of the creation of the new position several cases already have been taken to the courts. Kudow also will assist in the investigations and probes of food stamp and Aid to dependent children abuses. Kildow is a is55 graduate of Rosevine High school where he was a member of the varsity basketball and baseball teams for four years and of the football team for one year. Active in a number of clubs and organizations during High school he served As president of both the National Honor society and student coun cil there. Kildow also was president of his class for his freshman and Junior Vears at res. He entered Ohio University in Athens in 1965. But after a year in the classroom decided to enlist in the coast guard. Commenting that he just was t ready for College in 1965. He found the coast guard a Good interim experience and a Chance to see other parts of the world following Basic training at a base in new Jersey he studied radar in a school in Connecticut and was assigned to a year and a half of service in Hawaii. With the rank of radar Man third class Kildow was a member of an Ocean station Crew which spent 35 to 75 Days at sea to assist aircraft and Aid in ship Rescue missions. He also spent 10 months in Vietnam on support assistance assign agents upon his return to the United states. Kildow was assigned to an experimental radar station controlling ship traffic in san Francisco Bay in California. He was at that for six months before receiving his discharge. It was then he decided he was ready to tackle the Rigours of an academic life and interested in physical education. Kildow Eric c. Kildow entered Ohio University Zanesville where he is now a senior. To help himself through College he worked at the Nelson Mccoy pottery for a summer and As a Mold maker at Robinson Ransbottom pottery for two years before his employment by the welfare department. With a Bachelor of science in education in the offing Kildow is eyeing a masters degree in guidance As a future goal. His interest in physical education comes naturally from his school varsity sports experiences and Kildow has maintained Active involvement in the Field Ever since graduation. He serves As a sports referee of basketball for the Mil and acts As Umpire for the babe Ruth league in the col. He is a member of the City league slow pitch softball team and keeps up with Golf.
