Peter was a dedicated worker and proudly spent 26 years working as a letter carrier for Canada Post. With his love of the outdoors and his outgoing personality, he was perfectly suited to the job. When he wasn’t working, he could be found in the garden. One of his greatest joys was spending his days outside among the birds, squirrels and rabbits, watching his flowers grow. The coffee was always on at Peter’s. He made coffee the old fashioned way in a stovetop percolator and believed a cup of hot coffee was a prerequisite for everything - especially when visiting with family and friends. He was a devoted husband and father, and proud Opa and recently Uropa. A special thank you is extended to the staff at the Misericordia Health Centre Cornish 2, as well as Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home for their loving care of Peter.
