Teacher/ School Counselor. O- Chi- Chak- Ko- Sipi First
Nation is located on the banks of northern Lake Manitoba
approximately 1 hour drive from Dauphin. Currently, the
O- Chi- Chak- Ko- Sipi First Nation has about 540 members
living on reserve. In our community, you will find a Band
Office, Store, Restaurant, Health Clinic, Public Works,
Radio Station, Band Hall and School.
The Donald Ahmo School’s mission is to strive for the
best education on behalf of the children of the O- Chi-
Chak- Ko- Sipi First Nation in collaboration with the
parents and community members.
Position # 1 Grade 7/ 8 Teacher: We are seeking an
energetic, enthusiastic teacher who enjoys a challenge.
In this role, you will enjoy teaching small class sizes
which allows for increased student interaction and oneon-
one learning.
Position # 2 Grade 4/ 5 halftime/ School Counselor
halftime: We are seeking a teacher, committed to
students' success and have the flexibility to work
cooperatively with parents, students, colleagues,
administrative and support staff.
The ideal candidates will have superior interpersonal
skills, have a Bachelor of Education Degree and must be
able to obtain and maintain a clear criminal record
check/ child abuse registry check.
