Jane Young wife of Samuel Jackson Young died at their Home South of Attica last thursday morning. Howard Cann state senator elect from Clinton and Boone counties announces that he will propose another change in the present county unit Road Law at the coming session of the legislature by amending Section 5 of the present Law which provides that fifty freeholders of the county must petition for a Road. The picking up of a Man who gave his name As William Wright in Williamsport on thursday a Light led to the raid. Wright was arrested on suspicion and was found to have a Quantity of whiskey in his Possession. He was arrested and lodged in the jail Over night and on Friday morning he was turned Loose and shadowed. He turned North out of Williamsport and the men shadowing him thinking that they would locate a still in this county. But the Trail led across the county to the Neary farm where the search was found. Wright is out on a $1,000 Bond. Evidence has it that his Home is in Watseka and that Wright is an assumed name.
