Those arriving at the fire first found the big building enveloped in flames and it was impossible to save eighteen head of hogs some farm machinery and Grain that was stored in the barn. It was while watching the destruction of the barn that some of the bystanders discovered what looked like a human form. A closer investigation revealed the form lying on top of the blazing Straw and by Means of poles and wires it was removed and Coroner Lesage and Harry Comley undertaker were notified and went immediately to the scene the charred remains were brought to the Comley undertaking Parlours and an inquest was held by the Coroner on thursday morning. The body was Burnt almost to a Crisp the legs were missing parts of the arms gone and the flesh cooked until there was Little resemblance of a human form. Coroner Lesage is withholding his verdict until a further investigation is made and a number of neighbors and members of the family will be questioned.
