Pastor Toms Sermon for Pentecost sunday wind and fire was based on acts 2 1-21, when the Day of Pentecost came All the believers were Gath ered together in one place. Suddenly there was a noise from the sky which sounded like a Strong wind blowing and it filled the whole House where they were sitting. Then they saw what looked like tongues of fire which spread out and touched each person there. They were All filled with the holy spirit and began to talk in other languages As the spirit enabled them to speak. They were Allex cited because All of them heard the believers talking in their own languages. Pastor Tom told us the holy spirit offers Light to Jesus from everyone bring ing inspiration and insight into the ways of our creator god. Like fire it ignites the raw material of our lives and consumes darkness. It lets Jesus Shine on us. The Early Church blessed by the holy spirit gave witness to Jesus. Shared with gladness to hearts in need the Early Church persisted in lieu of threats. The holy spirit has blessed us with Power and Energy to be a Jesus place and May it be our coun Selor guide and assistant.
