Of schools met with the Waco Board of education to determine the results of the special election May 13th to elect a director from District number 3. J. H. Mcgrath declared the vote a tie Between g. H. Brooks and Elmer Meyer. The two names were put in a hat and g. H. Brooks name drawn and declared elected. James Troutman was appointed by the Board As Secretary for the remainder of the school year. E. P. Herrman submitted his written resignation As a Board member effective immediately. Supt. Carl Luse expressed his Oral resignation with a written statement to be furnished on May 21. Russell Davison submitted his written resignation from the Board effective immediately. The present Board will attempt to appoint a new member from districts number 1 and 2 to serve until the next regular election in september.
