Public schools follows slight reorganization May cause some changes later but the list is in the main Complete 1 the most important change Isth removal of the eighth Grade pupils who attended room four in Tho Park Avenue building to the to Avenue building they will Here have the advantage of special teachers working on the departmental plan As the pupils in the Logan and Adams buildings have already had the seventh Grade in Park Avenue will also receive the full time of the instructor there instead of half As heretofore pupils who have not already been registered in Liis District must re sent certificates of successful vaccination pupils who arc marked conditioned in a subject will be Given another examination at the opening of the term summer study May save them an entire year any Pupil May be re turned to his former Grade if he fails to make Progress the term opens on monday August thirty first pupils who will be six years eld before january first will be a tainted at the havens wife of John havens or passed quietly away at Lla Oclock tuesday after noon mrs havens had been in ill health for Over two during most of that time had been Able to be about the House the Comfort arid hear some companion of her husband and the one son residing at Home it was about two weeks ago however that she was obliged to take to her bed and fro that time until the end came tuesday there was a gradual and painless slowing up and Lessen ing of the forces of life caused by the action of pernicious anaemia mrs Frances Shank havens was born a Saltsburg Huntingdon county on october 31 1s51 her childhood and Early girlhood were spent there and at Petersburg on october 27 1870 she was United in marriage to John havens their Early married life was spent in Huntingdon but during the last Twentyfive years they have resided in Tyrone of the six children born to or and mrs havens two died in infancy two sons Burket and Harry died after reaching Matu Rity and two sons survive to mourn the death of a Good Mother John havens or arid Clarence havens both of Tyrone mrs havens is also survived by a brother and two Sis ters Samuel Shank of Mcalevy fort mrs George b states of Mcconnellstown and mrs John Crown Over of Belleville mrs havens was a quiet and Home Loving person Content to find her interests and happiness within the Bounds of her Home and a Small Cir Cle of warmly attached friends a member of the first methodist Epis Copal Church she took Strong interest in Church work while she was also one of the most Active members of the woman Relief corps the loss of a fond wife and devoted Mother will leave desolate a Home once made so cheerful for the bereaved husband and sons funeral services will be conducted from the Home at 10 East twelfth Street at 2so Friday afternoon by Rev w w Hartman interment in grand View cemetery the Junior Chautauqua the Junior Chautauqua in Tyrone this summer will be better than Ever there will be new stories new songs new there will be hikes for the children Over twelve years of age these hikes to be accompanied by special stories there will be Folk dancing to the music of the Vic Trola and a track meet one Day for the older boys there will be a Story hour in he afternoon while the grownups Are having their session in the big tent and on the last Day there will be a play Mother natures in this Little the Junior meets which will occur at Tyrone on saturday july 25 a Russell Auke Matt physical director of the Altoona p r r y m c a hi1 Mccullough of the Bell Wood association g i Nicholas Sec Pitary of the Juniata association c e Graffius physical director of the Tyrone and e c Brown chair Man of the athletic committee of the Conein Augh association wednesday evening met at Tyrone when plans were formulated for the elaborate track arid Field meet among the events will be 100yard 220yard and440yard dashes and a mile run relay potato race place two Yards apart a 12p6uhd running High arid standing Broad jumps fungo hitting baseball throwing for the bases against time will also be prominent features meet on this same Date a Tennis tournament in which each of associations will enter one player in singles and two in the doubles is Tobe held a swimming meet Tith three events consisting of fancy diving a race for the length of the Pool which is 200 feet and diving for distance and other
