AHGOSA GOLF J During the summer season Ah- gosa golf course, located at the eastern limits of Traverse City on U.S. 31, is sponsoring a tourna- ment among the various organiza- tions oC the community. Such fra- ternities as the Elks, fc Masons Eagles, American Legion and oth- ers'have their, teams and'patrons. Each round of golf played entitles the participant to a vote for IUB or her favorite organization. The lodge "getting- the highest total of votes will receive a generous cash prize at the end of the season. H. C. Hoftmaster, proprietor, personally supervises the.work of keeping the course in excellent shape. The greens and fairways are well kept and sporty. Many summer patrons compliment the management yearly on the course. Tournaments are conducted each Sunday during the season with four flights taking- part.
