Penn Dot to hold Public meeting on Sugarcreek Bridge projects Herald Venango county Penn Dot invites the Public to a meeting on sept. 16, concerning plans for the rehabilitation of the Hyattville Bridge and the Sugarcreek drive truss Bridge in Sugarcreek. The Hyattville Bridge is located Over sugar Creek on state route 322, immediately West of the intersection with state route 427. The Bridge is classified As structurally deficient and is posted with a weight restriction of 33 tons or 39 tons for combination loads. The Bridge was built in 1966, and is used by approximately 3,800 vehicles a Day on average. Construction on the Hyattville Bridge on route 322 will include the replacement of the existing steel girders and deck. Roadwork will be done of either aids of the Bridge. The Bridge rehabilitation is scheduled to begin in May 2016, and the work is expected to be completed by the end of october 2016. Car traffic and truck detours will be required during construction. The Sugarcreek drive truss Bridge is located Over sugar Creek on Sugarcreek drive route 4010between Youngs Lane and causeway drive. The Bridge is structurally deficient and posted with a weight restriction of 28 tons or 39 tons for combinations loads. The Bridge was built in 1920, and is used by approximately 1,300 vehicle a Day on average. Construction on the Sugarcreek drive truss Bridge will include disassembling galvanizing replacing and reassembling the truss members and replacing the existing deck. The Bridge is schedule to be rehabilitated beginning in july 2016, and the work is expected to be Complete by the end of october 2016. A Owca hosting two upcoming classes Herald Strong women Strong Bones will be offered on tuesdays and thursdays at the Owca at to . This class is designed for women Over 40, to improve strength and increase flexibility. This session will run through december. There is a fee to participate. Scholarships Are available.
