Heaven gained a new Angel on this Day. Irene was born in Lowell Massachusetts on september 21,1926, the youngest daughter of pioneering polish immigrants Anthony Jaskolka and Antonia Klosowicz Jaskolka. A child of the depression she Learned the benefits of hard work and Thrifty habits while nurturing a Strong zest for living and love of family that would endure throughout her life. Friends and family members remember her for her generous nature and perpetual and infectious cheerfulness. In 1954, Irene fell in love and married Victor Kmiec another pioneering immigrant from Poland. They enjoyed a Strong Loving marriage of almost 35 years before Vic passed away in 1989. Their most treasured accomplishment was the raising of three cherished children. Irene was preceded in death by her husband her parents and her Sisters Olga Lach Helen Sorbo and Jennie Cody.
