Apple served under commander Marianas and Admiral Nimitz until the termination of hostilities when he was assigned to the investigation and prosecution of War crimes in the Western Pacific he was released from Active duty with the United states Navy in mar 1946, in the rang of lieutenant Coin Wiander and he resumed the practice of Law at Smethport.
